KPGE is the overseas education arm of the Kamla Poddar Group, which has been teaching in Jaipur since 1999. We are a small team, and how we work matters more here than a job title.

How we work

One counsellor owns a student’s file from evaluation to departure. There is no handoff to a processing team and no script. That means the job is more demanding than a typical counselling role and considerably more satisfying, because you see what happens to the advice you gave.

We do not run sales targets tied to specific universities. If a counsellor here tells a student that a course is a bad idea, that is the job being done correctly.

Roles we hire for

• Overseas education counsellor, profile evaluation, shortlisting, and owning student files end to end.
• Applications and documentation executive, portals, transcripts, deadline tracking. Precision work.
• Visa documentation specialist, financial evidence and filing for the routes we handle.
• Test preparation trainer. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo. Teaching experience matters more than a certificate.
• Front office and student relations, often the first person a nervous parent meets.

What we look for

Clear written English, patience with people making an expensive and frightening decision, and a willingness to say “I don’t know, let me check” rather than guess. Study-abroad experience of your own helps but is not required, we will train the domain knowledge.
