Terms and conditions

These terms govern the counselling and application services provided by Kamla Poddar Global Education (“KPGE”, “we”) to you. By engaging us, you accept them.

What we do

We provide profile evaluation, course and university shortlisting, application preparation and submission, statement of purpose advice, scholarship and education loan assistance, visa filing support, and pre-departure arrangements. The exact scope of your engagement is set out in the written service agreement you sign with us.

What we cannot promise

This is the most important section on this page, so it is stated plainly:

• We cannot guarantee admission to any university or course. Admission decisions belong entirely to the institution.
• We cannot guarantee a visa. Visa decisions belong entirely to the immigration authority of the destination country. Any success rate we publish is a record of past outcomes, not a prediction of yours.
• We cannot guarantee a scholarship, a loan approval, accommodation, or employment during or after your studies.
• We do not control university fees, intake dates, entry requirements or immigration rules, all of which can change without notice.

Any counsellor who promises you a guaranteed admission or visa is not speaking for KPGE. Tell us if that happens.

Fees

Your first counselling session, profile evaluation and university shortlist are free. Application handling and visa filing are charged as a flat professional fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. We do not take a percentage of your tuition, and our fee does not change based on which university you choose.

Our fee is separate from third-party costs you pay directly, university application fees, English test fees, visa fees, biometrics, medicals, courier charges and translation. Those belong to the organisations that charge them and are not ours to refund. See our refund and cancellation policy.

What we need from you

• Accurate and genuine documents. Submitting forged, altered or borrowed documents is fraud. It will end your engagement with us immediately, without refund, and we will not misrepresent your file to any institution or authority.
• Honest disclosure of your academic record, backlogs, study gaps and any previous visa refusal. A refusal you did not tell us about is the single fastest way to lose an application.
• Timely responses. Admissions and visa deadlines are fixed. We cannot be responsible for an opportunity missed because documents or payments did not reach us in time.
• Your own final decisions. We advise; you decide which offer to accept and where to go.

Third parties

Where we introduce you to a bank, insurer, accommodation provider, forex service or test centre, your contract for that service is with them, on their terms. We are not responsible for how they perform.

Our liability

Where we are found liable to you, our liability is limited to the professional fee you have paid us for the service concerned. We are not liable for university or visa decisions, for third-party failures, or for indirect losses such as lost earnings or deferred intakes.

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Intellectual property

The content, structure and design of this website belong to KPGE. Country guides, cost tables and articles may be read and shared with attribution, but not republished as your own.

Ending the engagement

Either of us may end the engagement in writing. What happens to fees already paid is set out in the refund and cancellation policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please raise the matter with us, most things are fixable in a conversation.
