At a glance
Ireland is the only English-speaking country in the European Union, and Dublin hosts the European headquarters of Google, Meta, Microsoft, Pfizer and most large pharmaceutical companies. The Third Level Graduate Programme gives master’s graduates two years to find work.
Who it suits
Students in technology, data, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and finance who want European access without needing a second language.
What it costs
Tuition is ₹10–22 lakh a year, noticeably below comparable UK courses. Living costs are ₹8–11 lakh, though Dublin accommodation is genuinely difficult and needs to be arranged early rather than on arrival.
What we watch for in your file
- Accommodation, booked before you fly. Dublin’s student housing shortage is real and it is the most common problem our Ireland students report.
- Full tuition payment before the visa application, which Ireland requires.
- Course selection against the Critical Skills Occupations List if you intend to stay on afterwards.
Deadlines to plan around
September intake applications should be in by March, with visa filing complete by June. Ireland processes visas centrally and the queue lengthens sharply in July.
